Towels are disheveled, shelves are too big or too small to fit the things you need to store, and things get lost as the chaos piles after each load from the washer and dryer is folded and quickly shoved in. To keep this nightmare from playing on repeat, follow these quick tips and your linen closet woes will soon be a thing of the past.

**Create the Right Size Shelves **

Oftentimes, our linen closet gets disheveled because the shelving is either too small or too large for the things we need to store in it. Your linen closet is often storing a variety of items in various sizes including sheets (for various size beds in the house), towels, wash cloths, toiletries, and even cleaning supplies. Because so many of these things can get lost if shelves are too large, or crammed if shelves are too small, designing the shelving size to meet your storage need is essential before even starting the project.
