When summer comes along, it brings feelings of joy and excitement with it. What better way to celebrate this magical season than by refreshing the look of your home? There are many ways to decorate your home, depending on your budget and the amount of free time you have available.

A great way to refresh the look of your home quickly is to purchase or make a few accessories to match the style of your [blinds](http://www.allaboutblinds.net/blinds.aspx) and [shutters](http://www.allaboutblinds.net/shutters.aspx). A few throw pillows in bright colors will add a summery feeling to any room. Other accessories, like accent rugs in colorful patterns, will help bring the look together. Consider buying a colored bulb in a warm tone (like red or gold), or make a quick transformation by wrapping a sheer colored scarf around your existing lampshade. And to refresh the bedroom, consider investing in a new set of sheets and a new comforter. Fun throw pillows tossed on the bed are a great quick pick-me-up for those on a budget.

The kitchen is full of many possibilities when it comes to redecorating for summertime. Since your kitchen table is usually the most eye-catching piece in your kitchen, try purchasing a tablecloth in a bright color or pattern. A centerpiece of flowers or fresh citrus fruit (or both!) will also perk up your dining space.
